How's Narnia?

Well, since it's my least favorite book of the Pevensie story arc, I have to say it was really well done and I loved the cinematography :) Did you see it yet?

Eventually I'll see it sometime with Jennifer. I think next week. Even though classes start Monday, Idoubt I'll have anything major due that week and we can see it after classes one day. In 2D though, Narnia does NOT need the gmmick of 3D

Oh, I saw it in 2D as well :) I don't care at all for the 3D technology, especially not when it's just there to take focus away from the story (also, the glasses annoy me).

:D I'm doing this too, kinda! Good luck with it ^^

Wall-e *loves* :D Also, what did you think of Narnia? I went to see it last month.

Yay :D Good luck with yours as well ♥

I really loved the visuals, and I think they adapted the story rather nicely. Oh, and Eustace was great haha.

I agree. On the one hand, the cinematography was great (the scene with the invisible castle was so so so beautiful) and I have to agree whole-heartedly on the Lucy storyline. I also loved Eustace (he was on of my favorite characters in the books) and the way they chose to narrate sometmes (like Eustace's voice over in the end). But on the other hand, everything seemed a bit off the track, and the pacing felt weird. But I guess it's difficult to adapt a book like this to the big screen... so I'm not sure if I could've thought of a better way to film it.
Aw, are the chances for the rest of the books really that bad? D: I can't believe they keep making Shrek sequels and stuff but don't continue with those movies. Underrated franchises ftl ;( (The Silver Chair is my favorite book! At least it was when I read the series five years ago...)

I loved it so much! I don't even know what it was about this movie that made me love it so much; though all the actors were amazing, THE CINEMATOGRAPHY, the music, the dialogues, THE COSTUMES.
The only thing I know about True Grit is that it's that movie with the girl some people want to cast in the Hunger Games movie haha.

I was in the middle of exams until Saturday! Now I'm finally free ♥ (well, there's still two left but yeah). I am really glad that I'm on a break right now, the last weeks were horror with still having classes and also having ridiculous exams (on Saturdays!) which basically were all about memorizing stuff which I have now forgotten again. Japanese was the only exam the studying was actually useful, because I will use everything I studied in the next semester as well.

I should update soon, I miss my flist :')

~late reply is late~
Bolt was really cute, and I loved the characters (the cat! ♥), and I started wondering whether I should give the other CGI-but-not-Pixar Disney movies a chance... but I don't think films like Chicken Little are... worth it?
I really liked Inglourious Basterds (it's really not a 4/5 but a 9/10), but I had such high expectations I think that no movie could have lived up to them. Shosanna's was my favorite storyline, so I felt some other bits dragged a bit. But there were also some very good-looking fellas (and B.J. Novak lol) and I liked how they got German actors for the Germans \o/ I felt like I had an advantage because I only had to read the French subtitles, so I could pay more attention to what was happening on screen :)
